Research Projects

ICH LIEBE FISCH PROJECT 2016-2020


The Ich Liebe Fisch project is a German funded project that focused on two critical pillars: capacity building within the aquaculture and fisheries sector and the enhancement of fish fingerling production.

DAAD PROJECT 2017-2020


LUANAR/DAAD In-Region Scholarship for qualified Africans In-Country/In-Region Scholarships. The programme aims at fostering strong, internationally recognized higher education systems in the Sub-Saharan African region towards the sustainable development

NORHED II 2021


Under a Project “Enhanced Capacity for Aquatic Resources in East and South Africa” LUANAR is implementing a regional and collaborative MSc in Aquatic Animal Health and Ecosystem Management. The lead partner for the project is University of Life Sciences.
