Mr Ben Lombe is a lecturer in Mathematics, has a Master of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from University of Stavanger, Norway and University of Malawi. Has taught courses in Mathematics and Statistics which includes real analysis, Ordinary and partial differential equations, abstract algebra, Calculus I and II, computational mathematics, linear algebra with applications, trigonometry and elementary calculus, Foundation of statistics and Probability theory, statistical hypothesis testing at LUANAR as well as at UNIMA. He has also supervised undergraduate students in Applied mathematics.

Research interests areas include the following: computational mathematics for theoretical biology, numerical methods, mathematical ecology, stochastic optimal control, statistical and financial modelling.
