The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) is pleased to announce names of candidates who have been offered admission to pursue various undergraduate degree programmes through the Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) Campus for the 2026/2027 academic year.
In total, 1130 candidates have been selected, comprising 323 (29%) females and 807 (71%). The selection of candidates was based on merit, in line with Government policy on admission into Public Higher Education institutions. Affirmative action on gender was taken into consideration, alongside candidates’ choices and the predefined subject combinations required for each programme.

The University further advises that all students selected are self-sponsored non residential in line with the Government Policy of admitting students based on classroom space.
