The Centre of Excellence in Transformative Agriculture Commercialisation (TACE) at LUANAR was established in November, 2022 at LUANAR with support from the World Bank and Malawi Government under the Africa Centres of Excellence II Additional Financing (ACE II AF) programme. Its establishment is in line with pillar number one in the MW2063 Agenda, which is the overarching strategy guiding strategic investments to develop the country.
TACE is contributing to the pillar, Agricultural Productivity and Commercialisation, by facilitating commercial farming and Industrialisation activities through supporting human capital development at postgraduate levels and capacity building for the entrepreneurial ecosystem players.

TACE with funding from the Government of Malawi through the World Bank awards Scholarship to postgraduate students studying MSc Irrigation Engineering, MSc Food Process Engineering, MSc Agribusiness Management, PhD Agribusiness management, MSc Holticulture and Master of Education.
