The Bachelor of Science in Crop Sciences program at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the science and technology of crop production, management, and improvement. This program emphasizes the importance of sustainable agricultural practices, focusing on enhancing crop yield and quality while minimizing environmental impacts.
Students engage in both theoretical learning and practical applications, covering areas such as plant physiology, soil science, pest management, and biotechnology. MSCE Certificate or its equivalent with at least six credit passes including English, Mathematics, Biology and Physical Science or Chemistry and Physics.
A level certificate with minimum grade of C in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics will be considered for entry at second year.
