Yesterday, LUANAR proudly participated in the International Education Day held at Katoto Secondary School in Mzuzu. We showcased our newly introduced E-campus, developed in collaboration with Astria Learning, which offers fully online programs.
Officially launched in November 2024 by the President of Malawi, H.E. Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, the E-campus is revolutionizing online education by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies to simulate real-life learning environments, including laboratory sessions.
This innovation aligns perfectly with this year’s theme:
"Artificial Intelligence and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation."
The event was graced by Hon. Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima, Minister of Basic and Secondary Education, and Hon. Jessie Kabwila, Minister of Higher Education. Both leaders emphasized the need for the responsible use of AI among students and educators as Malawi advances toward the full integration of AI in its academic landscape.
